GOVERNMENT FUNDED TRAINING
Training at Little or No Cost to You
Government funded training is a way to obtain the necessary training at no cost to your business. Our strategic alliance with STEPS There are two forms of training available:
Traineeship
Benefits to your Business from Traineeship Training:
- Receive a Government Incentive of up to $4000.00
- Exemption from Workcover (for new employees) during the traineeship period
- On the job training that is designed to minimise disruption to your business
- Training that has been customized to meet your workplace needs
Benefits to Your Staff from Traineeship Training:
- A nationally accredited qualification upon completion
- The opportunity to choose a career path through accredited qualification
- Flexible delivery of training and assessment by experienced industry trainers and assessors
Skills Deepening
Skills deepening is a course category that includes courses for progression to a higher level within an industry area or for Skills Development at a specialised or paraprofessional level. If you are eligible for a Government subsidised place the Government pays most of the cost of your course, but you will still need to pay the Enrolment and Materials fee of $500
